Naturopathy or
Naturopathy medicine is an alternative form of medicine which is based on
vitalism. It brings a special energy in the body which is known as vital energy
or force which readily absorbs bodily process like reproduction, metabolism,
growth and adaptation. It favors holistic approach towards non-invasive
treatment. It is similar to conventional medicine but encourages the minimal
use of drugs or surgery.
Basically naturopathy treatments in India
is a form of treatment through the elements of nature and it is made up of five
elements which are Jal (water), Vayu (air), Agni (fire), Akash (sky) and
Prithvi (Earth). These elements also present in our body but when there is
imbalance in these elements then your body reacts to these imbalances. This is
in the form of cough, vomiting, fever etc as the body is trying to get rid of
impurities. Therefore it is always better to cure these not with the help of
drugs or surgery but with the five elements of nature.
Obesity or overweight is a condition which is
characterized by excessive storage of deposition of fat in the adipose tissue. Naturopathy treatment for obesity
includes eating honey, barley meal and fresh rice gruel. In barley meal, the
seeds are roasted and grinded into flour which is then mixed with water and
honey to forma dough. This is one of the
best ways to reduce weight.
Many people do not know that intake of fats
and carbohydrates results in obesity. Added to all these it is also lack of
physical work and exercise which lead to the accumulation of body fat. It is
known as medoroga in Ayurveda. The fat in the body gets accumulated from oils,
clarified butter and other fatty substances which are consumed through food and
drink. Added to all these chocolates, wafers, sweets and other fatty substance
impair vital organs of the body like heart, liver joints and kidneys. Obesity
can also cause high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes, asthma and other
deadly disease.
The best way to deal
with obesity is to avoid all sorts of fried, greasy and oil food which is tough
to digest. Avoid sweets and newly harvested or brewed foods like new grains,
new curd and new alcohol
